Enjoy your rug for years to come. As a general rule, to ensure evenly distributed wear and color balance, we recommend rotating your rugs every 3-6 months. If your rug is exposed to direct sunlight, its color will fade over time. We recommend closing your curtains/shades during the time of day when the rug is exposed to direct sunlight. A quality rug pad can add to the longevity of your rug. Regular vacuuming is also a must! A quality machine without the use of the beater bar is best.
Cleaning and Removing Stains
Quick action following a spill is essential to keep a permanent stain from setting on your rug. Remove spills by blotting with a clean, undyed cloth, or towel and press firmly around the spill to absorb the moisture. Do not rub the stain. Rubbing will cause the stain to set deeper into the rug, making it harder to remove and may increase the likelihood that it will reappear. Harsh chemicals are not recommended on fine fibers. For difficult stains, professional cleaning is recommended.
Bedroom Size Guide
The right size for the bedroom depends on the size of your room and the size of your bed. Choose a rug large enough so that it is underfoot when you get out of bed. Standard sizes for smaller bedrooms with a twin or full-sized bed is 6’x9’. For bedrooms with a queen-sized bed, standard sizes are 8’x10 or 9’x12’. If your bedroom size allows a larger rug, a 10’x14’ will further define the sleeping space by allowing all furniture to rest on the rug.

Once the dyed yarns have dried, they are collected and wound into balls and assigned to a design and rug artisan.

Raw wool or silk is cleaned, detangled, and then hand-spuned into balls of yarn. Hand-spinning raw materials give the yarn unique texture, depth, and color.
Dyeing Process
An art form in itself, dye masters prepare dyes from recipes that have been passed down for generations to create each precise color. Freshly spun yarn is then submerged in dye baths.
Color Curating Process
The yarn will undergo a color-perfecting process of dyeing and sun drying 4-5 times to ensure it obtains the intended shade of color, texture, and sheen.
Clipping Process
Rugs are hand-trimmed. To finish a rug’s overall design, rugs are hand-carved and clipped to define pile heights and create distinctive pattern elements.
Drying Process
